GRADUATES

Our graduate programmes nurture our future leaders, and we welcome applicants that have recently graduated as well as those with more experience. We look for people with drive and integrity – because our programmes will build the knowledge and skills you need to succeed at Rathbones.

We offer two graduate programmes: technology and investment management. Both include a combination of placements, projects and qualifications to help you develop the attributes that we and other employers look for. You will work on as many as eight placements in different areas of the business, giving you the chance to put your learnings into practice and explore a wide range of careers. After two years, you’ll have the experience and skills to steer your career path wherever you want to go.

As well as theoretical and practical skills, we encourage you to develop your personal skills. Learn how to be a good leader, develop a professional network, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

“During the graduate programme, I have most enjoyed working in an innovative environment with a steep learning curve and a fantastic team. I have learnt an enormous amount since joining Rathbones. I continue to be supported in my career development and I am given opportunities to take on new responsibilities every day.” – Raphaela Major, Graduate Trainee - Investment Management (London)

Senior colleagues are very approachable and interested in the professional development of graduates, helping us every step of the way. Rathbones’ inclusive and collaborative culture is one of the main reasons I recommend others to join the company’s graduate scheme.” – Emmanouil Makrygiannakis, Graduate Trainee - Investment Management (London)
