GRADUATE ACADEMY
Our 2-year graduate programme nurtures future leaders, and we welcome applicants that have recently graduated as well as those with more experience.
We look for Individuals with drive and integrity – because our programmes will build the knowledge and skills you need to succeed at Rathbones.
The Graduate Academy includes a combination of placements, projects and qualifications to help you develop the attributes that we and other employers look for. You will work with as many as eight placements in different areas of the business, giving you the chance to put your learnings into practice and explore a wide range of careers. During the two years, you'll gain the experience and skills to steer your career in the direction you want to go.
As well as theoretical and practical skills, we encourage you to develop your personal skills. Learn how to be a good leader, develop a professional network, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
“Working at Rathbones does give me an immense sense of pride, and I am incredibly grateful for all the opportunities that I have had on the Graduate scheme. By rotating through several different departments across the Rathbones Group, I was able to build my own professional network, and to experience first-hand how each area of the business functions, and how they are interlinked. I was truly able to understand the ‘one Rathbones’ vision and made connections that will undoubtedly help me in my future career.” - Charlotte, Assistant Investment Manager and Graduate Academy Alumna
APPRENTICESHIP ACADEMY
University isn't for everyone and apprenticeships are a great way for young people and adults to enter the working world and undertake a qualification, without going taking the traditional university route.
You’ll work across key business areas including Investment Management, Financial Planning and more, where you’ll be able to apply the learning from your apprenticeship to make valuable contributions whilst exploring various departments and discovering where your skills and attributes are best suited.
You’ll learn both technical and professional skills, such as client service management and administration, alongside presentation and networking skills.
