Job Title: Financial Planning Administrator

Department: RFP Advice Delivery

Location: Bristol

Contract Type: Permanent 

 

The Role

 

In this role you will support your client team - Financial Planners, Wealth Planner and Paraplanner - in the delivery of an outstanding service to clients. ​You will support the Financial Planners in winning new clients, help coordinate the client team’s activities when dealing with clients and prospects and ensure that deliveries to clients and prospects are accurate and are in line with expectations.

 

This would suit someone who is proactive and comfortable with attending networking clients events.

 

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the Bristol office each week.

 

Outcomes of the Role

 

  • Work within the client team, contributing to the preparation, delivery and implementation of financial planning advice for new and existing clients.
  • Participate in regular client team meetings and manage workloads so that we deliver work in agreed timescales.
  • Process all work accurately and efficiently, ensuring delivery timescales are met and that work is delivered to the high standard we pride ourselves on.
  • Maintain client records and internal CRM systems in accordance with our procedures.
  • Keep up to date with changes in procedures and always follow agreed processes.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements as defined in our internal procedures and outlined during training.
  • Support relationships with peers, Financial Planners, Investment Managers, Clients, external providers and other stakeholders, communicating, openly and honestly.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 

  • Understanding and knowledge of client and Financial Planners’ expectations​
  • Excellent communication skills​
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail​
  • Able to apply compliance knowledge​
  • Good personal time management​
  • Ability to coordinate activities across multiple client team members​
  • Ability to work with multiple Financial Planners and set and review priorities​
  • Ability to organise self and others​
  • Competence when using Microsoft Office packages, Word and Excel (Intermediate)​, Powerpoint
  • A good understanding of Financial Services administration practices
