Role Title: Risk & Compliance Analyst

Division: RIMI Ireland

About the Role

To provide dedicated support to the Head of Risk and Compliance in implementing and maintaining the Firm's risk and compliance framework. This role ensures effective monitoring, reporting, and coordination of risk and compliance activities, enabling the Head of Risk and Compliance to meet governance obligations and strategic objectives.

 

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Assist in maintaining the Firm's risk register, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.
  • Support the preparation of Board and Risk Committee reports, including data collation and drafting.
  • Assist the coordination of risk appetite training sessions and maintain training records.
  • Support risk monitoring plans, policies, and procedures aligned with Firm and Group standards.
  • Facilitate the risk and control self-assessment process, including data gathering and documentation.
  • Monitor and track risk management actions, escalating overdue items to the Head of Risk and Compliance.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for risk testing and monitoring activities.
  • Liaise with first-line business teams to collect information for risk oversight and reporting.
  • Assist with upstream risk and regulatory horizon scanning by tracking regulatory changes and supporting implementation plans.
  • Maintain records and assist with employee preclearance, disclosures, and attestations in My Compliance Office (MCO) in line with compliance policies.
  • Support compliance monitoring and surveillance activities to prevent and detect market abuse.
  • Liaise with the Group client complaints handling team and maintain local records to support complaint investigations.
  • Assist in preparing documentation and coordination for the Group Conduct Risk Framework, including escalation and investigation processes.

 

About you

  • Previous experience within wealth management, risk and compliance experience desirable.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Risk, Compliance, Finance, or related discipline desirable.
  • Some knowledge of MiFID and Irish regulatory framework preferred.
  • Highly organised and commercial, with a professional and mature attitude.
  • High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confident interpersonal.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, team player with highly professional, proactive approach.
