About the Role
Partner with statutory entity leaders and/or Department Heads to provide meaningful insight on financial performance and position and, as part of that role, own the production and delivery of accurate and timely management accounting and statutory accounting information, covering actuals, budget and forecast.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Provide senior level support to the Finance Manager.
- Act as the primary Finance point of contact for the relevant statutory entity leaders and/or Department Heads with which you will partner.
- For the statutory entities and/or departments with which you partner:
- Provide insightful financial information to drive business decision making and strategy.
- Understand and be able to clearly articulate the key drivers of performance and the key variances to budget and forecast.
- Own the production and delivery of accurate and timely management accounting and statutory accounting information, covering actuals, budget and forecast.
- Produce, review and distribute monthly management information, business reviews and management packs relevant to your partnering areas.
- Maintain an effective control environment around non-staff costs.
Involvement in the group and entity audit process.
About you

- Previous partnering experience at a senior level
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Able to confidently communicate, engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to produce, interpret and articulately present financial information to stakeholders to support commercial decision making and strategy.
- Able to organise and prioritise own workload effectively, working to a high degree of autonomy.
- Confident challenging processes and escalating issues.
- Effective problem solver, generating practical solutions to often complex issues.
- An eye for detail, able to identify, investigate and clearly explain variances.
- Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm.
