Role Title: Digital Learning Partner
Division: Talent Performing and Learning
Location: Liverpool
Contract: 12 month FTC
Working pattern: Hybrid
About the Role
As part of the Talent, Performance and Learning team, this role will be working closely/consulting with key SMEs/project stakeholders/etc. across the to fully ascertain the e-learning requirements and then design and deliver appropriate learning solutions.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Consulting with stakeholders to conduct training needs analysis, design, creation and evaluation of digital learning content (eLearning modules, bitesize learning content, videos)
- Testing of new training materials and digital learning content on the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Auditing LMS to ensure that digital learning content remains relevant. Collaborate with other Systems teams (People Systems) to ensure LMS is optimised for user/admin experience.
- Working closely with stakeholders to design interactive and engaging learning solutions in line with project requirements.
- Developing clear success criteria and evaluating all programmes to ensure solutions are fit for purpose, add value and can be fully validated.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to enable a collaborative
- approach to agree and collectively shape learning needs across the business
- Maintaining a working knowledge of processes, standards, strategy and skills across the business in order to proactively and knowledgably support people development.
- Collaborating and working closely with other members of the team, ensuring consistent and cohesive delivery of key messages across both projects and other day-to-day deliverables.
- Promoting a culture of learning, ensuring that the Rathbones values are reflected in everything that we do.
- Constantly scan the external environment to ensure that we are using the most contemporary technology solution available in order to ensure that Rathbones uses learning technology in the most effective way
- Maintaining own knowledge and self-development on external industry and regulatory requirements and build these into learning solutions.
- Contribute to other L&D team activities, demonstrating flexibility to support the team as required in design and delivery of additional learning initiatives.
- Responding to LMS and online learning related queries as part of the TPL Services daily administration
- Managing and building relationships with external online learning suppliers (Omniplex/Adobe/Go1/etc.) to ensure own knowledge and team knowledge of the applications used on a regular basis remains up to date
- Management (as required) of firm-accessed content through SharePoint/Viva Engage/etc.
About you

- Experience of creating digital content to support a broader learning intervention
- Competent in using digital learning authoring tools e.g. Articulate 360, Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience in designing a learning platform to support mandatory and self-guided learning (desired)
- Learning and development consultancy experience
- Programme/project management experience
- Comfortable with full suite of MS Office programmes
- Delivering in a regulated and fast-paced change environment
- Experience in third-party consultation/supplier expectation management
- Formal Learning and Development qualification (desired)
- Awareness of the current digital learning market and the tools and techniques available to support effective digital learning solutions.
- Willingness to learn about the financial services regulatory framework
- Ability to understand and explain complex processes
- Understanding of the products and services Rathbones provide and the types of clients we work with and a willingness to expand this knowledge
