Role Title: Business Change Analyst
Division: Front Office Delivery
Location: London or Liverpool
Contract: 9 month FTC/ Secondment
Working pattern: Hybrid
About the Role
This role will lead the extraction and documentation of business led change requirements, capturing and assessing the business and system impacts of the proposed changes in a structured way which will form the project/ programme. This role will also ensure that the relevant business areas impacted are ready for any changes and are effective in getting programmes live.
This is a high-profile project which is integral to the future of the business. This opportunity will provide great exposure to business-critical decisions and Senior decision makers.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Investigate operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes
- Analyses business processes; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and recommends new approaches
- Production of business requirements documents - identify all deliverables required to achieve the business objective/s to enable benefits to be delivered around client processes, services, people, data and technology
- Conduct business impact assessment to identify how the changes from the "as-is" processes, systems, and structures to the "to-be" processes, systems and structures impact specific organisations and roles
- Support and conduct meetings including minute taking and actions
- To assist with the day-to-day administration in support of business led change initiatives.
- Assist the Business Change Managers in maintaining project plans and road maps and review packs/ documents in PowerPoint.
- Manage meetings of the different parties to ensure that the optimum solutions for the business are achieved
- Produce, contribute to and validate project proposals, terms of references, business cases, business requirements, specification and scoping documents and other reports as required
- Co-ordinate, support and where identified, lead User Acceptance testing to include such specific tasks as test script preparation; maintaining defects log and testing schedules
About you

- Experience of process mapping.
- Experience of Business Intelligence/ Data reporting solutions.
- Production of Test Cases for UAT.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies with some experience of project planning and scheduling.
- Proven ability of supporting, organising workshops.
- Commercial and financial understanding.
Communication Skills
- Strong written skills required to produce analysis and design documentation, with the ability to explain complex scenarios in an easily understandable way.
- Verbal skills – ability to take complex scenarios and to break then down into easily understandable blocks.
- Ability to engage effectively with people from all areas and levels of the business and external 3rd parties
Negotiating Skills
- Demonstrate ability to secure approval for proposed course of action. Build support for proposals across a range of stakeholders and manage expectations.
- Actively manage the baseline of documents and the associated Change Control procedure.
