The Role

The role is pivotal to Marketing by transforming complex financial concepts into clear engaging and accessible content for key audiences. The role supports our need to articulate the benefits of FP by producing high quality written materials including articles, guides, client communications and technical documents which inform, educate and empower prospects and clients. 

Outcomes of the Role

• Develop and deliver high-quality content that explains complex financial planning concepts in an engaging and accessible manner.
• Produce a range of content formats, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, newsletters, and social media posts, tailored to the needs of wealth management clients.
• Collaborate with financial planners, product experts, and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with the company's messaging and supports business development goals.
• Create content that addresses key stages of the financial planning journey, from early wealth accumulation to retirement and legacy planning.
• Optimize content for SEO to increase website traffic and improve visibility in search engine rankings.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all written materials, reinforcing trust and expertise in financial planning.
• Regularly update content to reflect changes in financial regulations, products, and market conditions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Leverage client insights and feedback to craft content that resonates with target audiences and supports lead generation and client retention.

Knowledge & Experience

• Proven experience as a content writer, preferably in the financial services or wealth management industry, with a focus on financial planning topics.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging content.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and increase organic traffic.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with financial planners, product teams, and marketing Familiarity with financial products and services, particularly in areas such as retirement planning, investment strategies, and tax-efficient wealth management.
• Attention to detail to ensure content accuracy, compliance with regulations, and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Ability to adapt writing style to different formats and platforms, from long-form articles to social media posts.
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple content initiatives and meet deadlines.
• Creativity and problem-solving skills to produce content that stands out in a competitive landscape.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and how they impact financial planning communication, ensuring all content is compliant with relevant laws and standards.
