Role Title: SuccessFactors Solution Engineer
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Role Purpose:
The SuccessFactors Solution Engineer acts as the lead architect and hands-on configurator for the Groups SAP SuccessFactors product suite (Recruitment, ONB 2.0, EC, EC Payroll, PMGM, Learning, Compensation, Joule AI, TIH, Career & Talent Development).
The role is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle from initial design and business alignment to technical build and deployment, bridging the gap between People strategy and technical execution as part of an exciting optimisation phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture & Design
- Work with key stakeholders & SME’s to develop product optimisation blueprints aligned to business objectives and needs.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into solution designs aligned to the People Strategy & Tech Roadmap.
- Architect and implement robust, scalable and future-proof SAP SuccessFactors solutions, modules and integrated technologies.
- Technical Delivery
- Lead technical design and configuration activities, ensuring solutions align with business requirements and module interdependencies.
- Undertake hands-on configuration of technical solutions through to deployment.
- As part of module optimisation and deployment projects, manage external AMS partner delivery where required across complex change, integrations and provisioning activity.
- Act as People Tech SME for enterprise-level projects, collaborating with partners in IT & Engineering to deliver end-to-end solutions aligned to the People Strategy & Tech Roadmap.
- Advisory & Leadership
- Provide expert guidance and insights on SAP SuccessFactors innovations and features, informing ongoing roadmap and optimisation efforts.
- Advise on process optimisation, technology adoption, enterprise integration opportunities and implementation approaches.
- Coach and mentor internal SME’s across the product development lifecycle.
Key Experience & Skills:
- Deep expertise and certification across the SAP SuccessFactors product suite, with a strong understanding of cross-module independencies.
- Extensive experience of end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors implementation and optimisation programmes, demonstrating ownership of solution design, integration and technical hands-on delivery.
- Expert knowledge of People technology applications and current trends.
- Familiarity with the broader SAP eco-system and / or integration with enterprise-level technical architecture.
- Methodical and analytical approach, with high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively problem solve to identify solutions and deliver new ways of working.
- Time management skills with ability to prioritise and deliver to strict deadlines.
- Strong consulting skills to determine requirements, make recommendations and drive adoption.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively at all levels.
