Job Title: Trust Administrative Assistant

The Role

 

To provide administrative support to Managers and Directors of Rathbones Trust Company Limited to provide first class services to a portfolio of high-net-worth families and trust structures.

 

 

Outcomes of the Role

 

  • Scanning, filing and allocation of incoming post.
  • Diary/Email management for Managers/Directors.
  • Handling travel & expense requests.
  • Processing client payments.
  • Handling charitable grant requests and keeping grants database up to date.
  • Attendance at client meetings and minute taking.
  • Providing cover during periods of absence.
  • Handling client and internal queries (telephone/email) in a professional manner.
  • Scanning company documentation and filing within CCH systems.
  • Data entry within CCH.
  • Internal form completion – new clients, closures.
  • Safe records.
  • Peer review preparation.
  • Billing.
  • Other administrative tasks as required by the team.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Maintaining excellent accuracy/attention to detail at all times including whilst under pressure
  • Ability to work using own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Minimum A Levels or equivalent – Diploma, HNC, HND etc
  • Previous volume administration experience in a regulated environment – financial services, accountancy, legal, banking.
  • Strong IT skills, proficient in MS Office applications, CCH experience useful.
