About the Role

 

The WM Commercial Insights Manager plays a pivotal role in enabling data and MI-driven decision-making across the wealth management business.. A key aspect of the role is the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools that enhance transparency, track progress against commercial objectives, and support growth strategies.  This role is responsible for delivering actionable insights through the analysis of sales performance, client trends, and regional office activity. The successful candidate will lead the development and enhancement of dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics to support senior leadership, regional heads, and front-office teams.

 

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Sales and Performance Analytics - Analyse and interpret sales data across products, channels, and client segments.
  • Track and report on KPIs including net flows, AUM growth, client acquisition,, product mix and retention.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc performance reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Regional Office Insights - Partner with regional office heads to understand local performance drivers.
  • Develop tailored dashboards and reports to support regional business planning. Identify opportunities and risks at a regional level through data analysis.
  • Dashboard Development & Reporting - Design and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake) to visualise key commercial metrics.
  • Automate recurring reports and streamline data workflows - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting outputs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with Data management, Sales, CCO, Finance, and Technology teams to align on data needs and priorities. Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner. Act as a subject matter expert on commercial data and performance metrics.
  • Ad hoc project support – work on key business cases and projects eg Apollo.
  • Continuous Improvement - Drive enhancements in data collection, reporting processes, and insight generation. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analytics and wealth management.

 

 

 

About you

  • Experience working in a similar role in Financial Services, the Investment or Wealth Management industry 
  • Proven experience in a commercial insights, business intelligence, or performance analytics role within financial services, ideally wealth or asset management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Commercially minded, with a strong focus on delivering business value.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Experience working with CLM/ CRM and sales platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at a senior level. Ability to communicate complex information in a clear, concise, and commercially focused manner
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
