Job Title: Wealth Planning Assistant

Department: RIM

Location: London

Contract Type: Permanent

Reporting to: Hannah Goody

 

The Role

To help sustainably maintain and grow the client base by providing support to the Wealth planning team.

 

Outcomes of the Role

Creation of reports where necessary for Investment Management only business.

  • Assisting paraplanners in creating Suitability Reports.
  • Preparation of meeting notes and supporting documentation for planning reports. Preparation of meeting packs/review notes, including portfolio performance, asset/income schedules and estate notes.
  • Attend client meetings where required.
  • Able to articulate client circumstances and investment/planning needs.
  • Keeping knowledge up to date about the global economy, financial news, markets, tax legislation, industry, and regulatory environment.
  • Have a working understanding of business systems proficiency (inc. RID, InvestCloud, Xplan).
  • Keep up to date with Policies & procedural knowledge

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively   with Investment Managers, and key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Exceptional focus on attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
  • Highly IT literate with an ability to learn new systems.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Competent at working to deadlines and managing own time.
  • Flexible attitude to work in response to changing workloads and deadlines within the team.
  • Relevant investment administration experience. Working towards achieving the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD):
  • The successful candidate will be encouraged to study towards further qualifications.
