Cameron   – Client Service Administrator Apprentice

"A Day in the Life of an Apprentice"

8:15am: Arrive at the office, set up my desk, grab a coffee then read the news and look to prepare and prioritise tasks for the day ahead.

8:30am: Tune in to the morning meeting, where our research team highlights key macroeconomic news and important company results.

9:30am: Weekly team meeting where we update each other on current or future developments and any possibly issues.

10am: Carry out daily tasks, speak to clients, attend meetings if required.

12:30pm: Lunch – often with colleagues or friends in the city.

1:30pm:  Continue with daily tasks, update colleagues on any developments from the morning or days prior.

3pm: Weekly Client Service sub-team meeting - this is where the client service individuals within the team get together and update each other and highlight any issues or better ways of working.

3:45pm: Continue with tasks and start to prepare for the following day regarding meetings. Tidy up my inbox for the following day.

5pm: Head home to exercise then study.

Joel – Trainee Financial Planner – Liverpool

 

 

 

“A typical day for me generally consists of either meeting new or existing clients and drafting financial planning recommendation reports to assist our clients in meeting their financial objectives. I often liaise with our Senior Financial Planning Director on complex cases while going through my sign-off process.”
